I like the idea of saving 30 quid, but don't really understand the connections so toysinyourcar will get my money - cheaper than having to replace a fried unit if I got it wrong!
Whitevanman - no extra taxes to pay, the unit came from Hong Kong, it cost me the advertised amount, £78 + £20 p&p

Got the AV-in lead now - thanks for the links above. Looks to me from the diagram in Stocktake's link that I can take power feeds to the digibox from the leads on the blue connector - take the Battery feed from the wire going into pin 1, the Ignition feed from pin 2 (or vice versa?) and the Ground from either of pins 10 or 11. Does that seem right?

Right, spent more time studying circuit diagrams - fun, fun, fun. Looks like the main battery feed is taken round the ICE circuit by the Purple/Pink wires, the Accessory feed goes through Light Green/White, Ground goes through Black. There's no Accessory feed to the TV box so ignore previous posting. I've put my digibox next to the Sat Nav CD unit in the boot - the digibox has USB input so it will be handy to have it somewhere easily accessible and the Sat-Nav area is easier to get to than the TV tuner.
I've taken the digibox main battery input by piggy-backing on Sat-Nav Purple/Pink, accessory input from Sat-NAV Light Green/White, Ground from Sat-Nav Black.
Not finished installation yet, will update this thread when I've proved it all does/doesn't work.

Long time since i did mine, so not going to be much help here.

I seem to remember the problem was finding an ign switched live for the digibox. I seem to remember pinning a multitude of wires and checking with a multimeter what was live and when

If you get the box that is is post 4 i would recomend running a 12v and a ignition 12v from the fuse box inside the car
