Oh what joy .....

What about yourself Steve, would you have a vaccine? Not everyone wants to have it.

Yeah I don't really care for them, rarely switch them on more than once a month but as the local banks bricks & mortar buildings close down we'll be left with no alternative.

Just had some sad news! another one of my close elderly neighbours has succumbed to covid, he's the fourth immediate neighbour that's died from it now, A good friend of Mams too, She'll be devastated when I tell her.

Yes I would Phil, anything to get close to normality again. My wife being a nurse has had the first jab, I haven't heard anything yet. priority is based on age and underlying conditions (of which I have several) but not a clue what category that puts me in.

There's currently a yellow warning here for snow and ice, becomes an amber warning for snow tonight

Hi Steve
I've no idea how accurate this is but it works out somewhere near what I've been told to expect for myself.

Sounds nice, but with veggies and another that won’t eat pies of any kind,I would be the only one eating it.. I can never get the food that I like because the wife and daughter are both veggie and the son will not eat anything home made, just processed food.I haven’t had steak and kidney pie for years, other than individual ones I bought for my dinner at work.

According to that be the back end of March despite having several of the underlying conditions.

After going out for some (essential) shopping I can well believe the amber warning for snow later. Bitterly cold and the sky is a very heavy grey.

Just checked our weather and although it's supposed to be 6 deg. out there it feels colder and it's 'orribly dull and drizzly. The band of snow isn't forecast to get here 'til during Saturday.

I know some people are concerned about buying "a seaside car" but never give a thought to the salt laden roads that they drive on every day for weeks on end in the winter, here even in a bad year the gritting lorries may be out for 10 days..
Decorating the kitchen this week to escape the boredom
Stay safe and don't forget to wear your mask when shopping
11° is barmy when we have 2° to about 5 atm here.

I don’t like I phones either,we have Apple computer and iPad,everyone else in the house has iPhone but me. I had a LG K8 2017 which was great until the sound stopped working on it, so I went back to my HTC desire 530 to keep me going. It’s a cack phone with poor camera and keeps dropping the WiFi signal several times a day but it does the basics which is keeping me in contact with the outside world as some of the areas I work in are quite remote. I have my late aunt’s phone ,a Samsung Galaxy A50; but I need to get it unlocked for my network as it’s on BT. Will have to wait until the shops are allowed open again though as nowhere is currently one to get it done, they are non essential shops.
