[QUOTE=joel antonio;2860393]Hi Emiel:

I was...WP4JQQ always on 10 meters. But when I came to Spain I sold out all the shack.

Kind regards
Joel Antonio.[/QUOTE

Buenos dias Joel Antonio,

while in Spain you have these wonderfull conditions to set up a powerfull shack. How about reconcidering? I thought the hobby was not alive anymore due to internet, but the opposite is the case I discovered 2 years ago. Very active and very nice. You could start with using

Any chance?

Take care,

Emiel

Can't you just put up a wire for HF? Had several contacts with the UK on 40 and even 20 m this week.

I do have a 5 band fan dipole in my loft (cant put anything outside, not even a long wire) and it just about allows me to tune 20m however your azimuth angle from me is at 90 degrees which puts you on the end of the dipole wire which then makes it very difficult to work the Netherlands

Need some more info about the specs, can you provide?

Ok, well good you at least have an antenne, and, althougn position is in theory not ideal, with proper conditions a lot is possible. My inverted V's have different angles and directions and are surprising me with different and also good results.

Worth taking a shot I say.

I have a hacked about Tristar 777 in the garage and an 18' aerial (not installed) that hasn't been switched on for over 20 years.

I keep meaning to try it out but still haven't got round to it. Maybe this summer...
