I've now found some more information in RAVE. It is for the FBH with remote control which requires a positive starting voltage. The red (positive) wire goes to pin 3 (the 6 pin connector) on the FBH. The black (negative) wire from the LH connector block shown to the "load" isn't actually needed. This is because your FBH has a permanent connection to earth via pin 2 (the 2 pin connector) anyway. So you need only one wire from your remote receiver to the FBH; the red one shown on the diagram. I hope that this makes sense but if not, please come back to me. Simon

This any good.
There are two types of PCB, one remote starts using 12v, the other by using earth, will not bother explaining it all. Remove the 4 top cap screws, lift off the cap to make sure the PCB has not been replaced. It should look like this, as long as the capacitors (circled) are not together If you want to press ON for start, and OFF to stop FBH, then you need to set the receiver to interlock. Remove the jumper in the image below

Any good? That's exactly what I was asking for in the opening post (except I thought my model was fired using Pin 3 to earth ) Thank you.

In post 10, Heddy needs 12v to pin 3 of the FBH to work, not Earth. If so, move the cable feeding the centre right connector from the bottom left to the top left 12v connector.

Warning: errors
Hi Steve,
That's a useful practical type of diagram but if Heddy follows it I fear his FBH won't work.

Furthermore, if you wire it like that you are likely to destroy your newly purchased receiver PCB. Quote:
Moving the cable as you describe is inadvisable as the diagram stands because the polarity on the left (input) side is wrong. This is what is required: Steve's diagram needs to be revised with the polarity changed at both the receiver input and output. Also, the link between left and right sides needs to be the positive supply, not earth. This is what I advised in my original reply to Heddy! I don't know why it's been ignored. Simon

Yes, the left connector cables are round the wrong way and need to be reversed, with the cable to the centre right connector connected to the bottom left 12v connector.

The right connector is a 2 way switch, using it as a one way switch, as long as the 'Common' and 'Normally Open' terminals are used it doesn't matter which cable goes to which terminal. It is only important in a 2 way circuit that the common terminal is connected to the common cable (feed or load). It is usual to go common to common, even in a 1 way circuit.

For Heddy
Hi Heddy,
OK, after all that confusion I thought it would be useful to you if I make another attempt to give you the simple guide you requested! Here it is.
That's it! Any questions? Simon
