Default Too good to break?

Apologies if this is a repost...

I was just trawling through eBay looking at spares or repairs cars (as you do...), when I spotted this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-MG-ZT...#ht_720wt_1399

1 owner, nice spec including bullets and rear sun blind, MGZ number plate & new tyres. (Although 160 not 190 wheels :S) Killed by a snapped cambelt.

Much as I'd like to plunder it for a few bits, surely this is worth someone saving? Seems such a waste for an otherwise good car...

I just wondered what other club members thought about this.

*please note I have no connection to the seller or vested interest in the car, I just spotted it on the web.

p.s. please go easy on me, this is my first new thread on the board!

First of all welcome to the club, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here, especially if you're as mad as we are.
You have been beaten to the link about that, someone else posted about it just earlier this week, lovely colour though trophy blue

D'oh looks like I've been beaten to it then - Mods, feel free to lock the thread.

Richard - Thanks for the welcome - I've been lurking for a while but never posted...

Lovely car, a lesson in doing the belts though.
They are a pain I completely agree, however for the loss both in value and of a lovely car, it's just not worth it.
