I think it's fair if he includes the belts being done as part of the asking price. As for the asking price being strong money, are there any others for sale with a very similar spec and history that you can compare it to? Good ones are fetching good money now!

Hello, yes this is the car I was talking about. It looks to be a really well looked after car and is in a good condition. I'd been talking privately with the seller who has given me tons of info.

As for pricing, I've seen newer cars in a similar condition and spec for £3k to £3.5k, status of belts tbc with those. Then again I've seen ones with horrendous MOT history for more.

Elsewhere there is a facelift 190+ for £5995. Very silly money.

So far I have had no time to arrange a visit to any car yet, so I've not pursued this one any further as I didn't want to waste the seller's time.
