That was fun! Started to prepare dinner which involved blitzing garlic in a mini blender. Did that, took the lid off, took the blades out. I've got a habit of going around barefoot indoors, the top of the blender rolled across the worktop, hit the blades and knocked them off. Now, couldn't do the sensible thing and land on the floor, hell no, hit my big toe and sliced it open. I'm on blood thinning meds, began to look as if I'd slaughtered the pig never mind preparing a pork joint. So much blood on the go (soaked a piece of kitchen roll) I couldn't try to make the bathroom or where ever so I grabbed the basin from below the sink, couple of inches of cold water and planted my foot in it until the flow eased a bit.

Afternoon all, turned overcast around dinner time but it's still warm.

I took dad to B&Q to get some plants that were being sold off reduced, We got some great deals. The young people they get to look after the plants/watering leaves a lot to be desired, a lot of the plants were wilted & bone dry also lots of snails present on the flowers too, that's a huge No-No in a garden centre I got the back lawns cut then called it a day, that flamin' sciatica wont begger off.

Having something fancy for tea, egg noodles with stir fry Veg in a sweet & sour sauce, I hope it;'s ringpiece friendly

I hope Derek is on the mend as his presence is greatly missed here.

It's not looking bad out there Ian.

Morning Jeff, have a good day with the moggies. I've got the last of the brake discs/pads kits delivered for the Rover, I was thinking of doing the job today but I think I might leave it a bit yet as the back is still playing up, I've got a month or so before the MOT so no rush.

Morning Freddie. LOL Have the England team stooped so low as to struggle against the mighty Malta now!
