Generally cloudy here with the odd bit of sunshine.

Feels warmer this morning. Last time I said that there was frost overnight so hope that doesn't happen again .

Repointing the house is on "to do" list. Sandblasters have cleaned the back - after many attempts at DIY and lots of £££'s with all sorts of different stuff that claimed they would shift umpteen layers of paint - they don't. .

So shall be busy for quite a while.

Good morning all, 29C here and it feels humid with it. A few days ago I had a bad headache which went on and on, I can put it down to Hay Fever/Sinus. Last night I had a large Scotch and by this morning the headache had gone. A busy morning, cleaned the pool, did the washing/laundry and sweeping up, peeled
potatoes....... Suddenly felt tired, so I am having a break for the rest of the day.

A few months ago, we had visitors from the UK who were going onto the coast. The guy asked me if he could borrow my camera lens cleaning brush. I said okay and that was the last I saw of it. I spoke to his brother about the brush, but I didn’t make a fuss. It’s my birthday next month 65 and I have put the word out to the family here, how I’d love a lens cleaning brush. I don’t think I am asking for much

Although bright and dry out, thermometer only at 14 degrees C. Felt pretty cold earlier this morning, queuing to get into the supermarket (however I hadn't dressed for a long wait... )

Baking day! Just made a bunch of Corned beef pasties for tea and there was enough corned beef & mashed potato/onion filling left over to make some potato cakes

Evening Andy been busy myself today went across to local motor factor to collect the bike wheel as the one you gave me was a 27' rather than a 26, the shop does bike spares and repairs so I got Nige ro swap the axle and gear block over, job done, then put a new cigar lighter plug on my tyre inflator .
