ZT petrol cap and strap.
My '54 ZT has a petrol cap with a rubber? strap which secures it to the body work. The strap has now broken (age)? The strap is held in a cylindrical boss in the body. Q. can a replacement be attached to this boss and what cap should I look for. Thanks for you time. Chris.S.

Get a new rubber strap. I got one last year from eBay I think? Little tip, if you didn't know, when filling up, the cap can be put into a holder on the rear of the flap 😎
