Such a great club
Just had a phone call from my somewhat distraught daughter-in-law (little missmt) marooned at a filling station/garage with her non starting MZT-T. and two mechanics head-scratching, talking of immobilisers etc and failing to get her started. I took her through the fuel pump routine and to her delight a swift whack on the under bonnet pump and the car sprang into life. She is now home safe and sound and having just spoken to her on the phone she was delighted to have left mechanics with bemused looks on their faces and even happier to hear that ( thanks to the knowledge gained through this club) I keep a spare pump in my workshop.
Thanks everyone N |

My rear wiper decided it was going to sound like someone hitting a brick with a sledgehammer. Having previously read a thread on the subject some time ago I didn't even need to refer back to the forum. Forty-five minutes work today with a strip out (had to drift out the shaft on the bench) cleaned, lubricated and back on the car. Now purrs like a kitten.
Yet another thank you to the club. N |
