Default Petrol smell...not breather T-piece

I have a petrol smell from my 2.0 V6, checked the breather T-piece, sure enough it was broken, so I replaced it. Unfortunately the smell is still there, it seems to be from around the vis motor. Any ideas what to check next?

Check where the fuel rail enters the front bank of cylinders, suspect that it is the O Ring, and that is where the fuel leak is from.

Been there and seen it a few times on others cars

Never thought of that. That's one for the list.

Default Good look

Have a good look at all the seals on the fuel rail including the injectors. You should spot dampness at the guilty party.
