Default parking sensors not working

my rear oem parking sensors are not working. when I start the car and engage reverse there is a long consistent beep for about 10 seconds which then stops and nothing else happens. any ideas ?

I'm having this problem as well. Could be corroded wiring?

First port of call are the sensors in the rear bumper. Ignition on, car in reverse. Go to the back and pass your hand in front of each sensor in turn, you should hear a faint click, if you don't hear a click its a duff sensor.
