Default Diesel rear exhaust section

I'm keeping a rear exhaust box spare for the day I might need it for my diesel 135. I checked part numbers and found, as I thought, I needed a clamp WYE 100350 to fit the new section. Those of you in the know are aware that our exhausts as factory fitted are one piece meaning that you have to cut the old one off part way down the pipe to fit the replacement.

I bought a new WYE100350 clamp on ebay. The new pipe and the section on the car measure at OD 57mm. The sleeve of the new clamp measures at 61mm so very slack. There are only two clamps available and my understanding was that the larger one is WYE 100360. This means that either I've got the wrong one or the wrong one is in the box!!!

Any ideas anybody - possibly from experience of the same???I

hi there, what type of sleeve do u have is it the one that is sort of wraped around layers with two m10 bolts through, these are good, if its like just a pipe with two slits each side and two seperate u clamps then they are no good if dimeter is more than a mil or 2, bosal make a wide veriaty of the good sleeve clamps with the m10s through, go to a parts wholesaler who supply bosal exhausts and get them to order one in ur size they will clamp down a good 8mil or so, good luck

Had a look Eddie. Thanks for that - interesting but I already have this WYE100350 clamp on my hands and it's an engineering work of art. I think I'll wait for the day I have to fit the rear box and "make" the thing fit!!!

Im with u! I looked at the wye100350 on rimmer bro and its around 40 quid so u dobt want to waste it, it is the wrap around type tho if it is too big ul be cursin it, get a socket on the nuts and tighten in as far as it will go then measure inner d, if its under ur 57 then will do lovely, if not then maybe not, the scymatic shows like stop blocks between the bolts, if they come out then it might do, but the 55-60 on the bay will do with ease and they look near the same, even like the bosal ones ive used for years, hope u dont need to try tho for a long time
