Not had a chance yet have to wait till kids back at school.
Anyone know how to test the rotary switches???

The volume control switch is playing up on my steering wheel, with the air bag removed and switches unplugged can you test them by measuring the resistance of each switch with a multimeter as they are operated?

you can, put the meter on the 2 output wires from the group and as you press buttons you should get differing resistances from the ladder.
also look at your clock spring as these are also known to fail
