I've seen a plate I would like was on the dvla but not any more, KY13 WJO, it's my first name and my initials Kyle William John Overton. Also have a number that I've seen that would make a set for me my mrs and both kids. ME02KYE, ME02SLO, ME02PLO, ME02GMO. I have to many initials to have the last 3 letters as my initals

I miss my personalised plate MG51DAW. It was car, birth date and my initials, and I sold
it with the car to someone with similar initials but not the same birth date. It would suit
my present car, an MGZT1.8T...........D'oh!

I always wanted J1 on a plate. XAY are the second from last, the first and the last letters of the prefix dictionary. I like the way they dont come across as initials unless your first name does really start with an X

I've just bought BE04 GEE to go on my Rover 75 Tourer.

I'll be using it to transport our Bee Gees tribute band to gigs.

I believe the number plate was once owned by Steve Parrish, but I can't remember where I heard that.

EDIT: Above confirmed as correct, just looked it up on Wikipedia.
Correct, it was owned by Mr Parrish.

When I bought the Jaguar 3.8 S Type it had the number 13 ACF. It had been owned by an RAF Squadron Leader based in Germany. The 1 and the 3 were close together, and I was told that it stood for "British Air Command Force" (BACF).

The number was later transferred to my Series 2 Daimler Sovereign PYL 245R (just visible on the right) which was sold a couple of years ago.

The sad, and very tired looking Daimler being taken away to be rebuilt.

The most distinctive number that I saw was on a P4 Rover (if my memory serves me right), and was parked outside Jessop's camera shop in West Drayton. I was told that it belonged to the boss, and the number read JES50P.

Was quite pleased to pick up J45UAR a few years ago for one of my Jaguars, along with 4 SOV. I do like my personal plates! The best extra a car can have.
I know someone who has R60VER on their 75.

I've recently put SE55 ROV on mine - mainly because 1) I didn't like the registration it had since 2010 and thought it deserved better, and; 2) It was first registered with a plate that was the owners initials and name (if you take a 1 to be an I).
However, I baulked at spending £800 on buying MG55 ROV.
