Rarely Together
Lovely sunny day today and both cars in my works car park so took a couple of snaps.
The Bentley is being collected tomorrow, I used it all weekend and there is something amiss with rear suspension, hydraulics or maybe gas struts. The 75 is in on Tuesday for some paint work on both bumpers to remove those pesky stone chips

That sound like a costly fix. I got a shock today with the XF, it failed it's MOT requiring new rear suspension bushes / arms costing £760 plus Vat
The cars done just over 40k but I've bitten the bullet and given The local Jaguar garage to go ahead. This will be the single most expensive repair in my motoring history spanning almost 50 years. |

The hydraulics were completely overhauled by Bentley two years ago and I haven't had any warning lights on the dash or seen any hydraulic oil leakages, so I am guessing it is the gas struts, the mechanic at Bentley also suggested these as the problem. We shall see all part of car ownership. You don't see any change of £600 each end every time it is collected for a service so my expectations are realistic. On the plus side the Rover is in on Tuesday for both bumpers to be resprayed, now that will be worth waiting for
