The thing i don't like about this kit is air can still enter around the threads of the nipple on the pedal up stroke.

Never actually used it yet, normally just put a golf club on the pedal to fully depress it, then crack each nipple in turn

Those gadgets are a very old idea, just a one way valve. As others have said, you can still get some air drawn in via the threads of the nipple. Another way is to simply put your finger tip over the bleed nipple, but that as the same risk of drawing air in via the threads. Brake grease on the threads can help seal them.

Easybleed is much better, in that it pressurises the system, avoiding the need to have someone pump the pedal. You just set it up, then release each nipple in turn, whilst keeping an eye on the container so the level doesn't fall to low - or you have to start again.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
