Is it still the consensus view that LUK Reposet clutch kits are the way to go - if so can anyone point me in the direction of a kit for a 1.8t. Is it the same clutch Spec for the V6/190?

I recall there was some opinion that Borg and Beck kits were not the standard they one where

Just swapped my Luk slave as it failed within 18 months.
It was exchanged under warranty and was replaced with the magneti marelli item.
Was told by the person dealing with it the the Luk slave has gone downhill in quality terms recently.

You could always buy an automatic then you don't get clutch failure
As we all know changing gear is for peasants

I see DMGRS is selling the Magneti Slave with their clutch kits.

I still prefer Luk stuff, only one failure in over 15 years of using them.
