Default Looking for alternator freewheel Pulley...K18T

My alternator is sqweiling like 10 stuck pigs..
The output is good and alternator solid so its a shame to change it just for this..

Im having a real hard time finding ONLY the freewheel pulley for the alternator.

55mm wheel with 5 grooves

Anybody got any tips?

Thanks

That usually indicates a loose belt Seb which could be the consequence of cracks or a problem with the tensioner.
What's the fault with your alternator's pulley?

Simon

The OP has made a poor diagnosis I reckon Simon.
Nothing to do with the alternator.---It's the belt idler/tensioner pulley.--

That doesn't mean that they're necessarily fault-free now.

In that case you'll need a replacement alternator Seb not just its pulley.

Let us know how you get on won't you.

Simon

A lot of newer cars have free wheeling pulleys and smart charge etc but none of the MGR products have this feature. New alternator time I’m guessing if the belts and tensioner are in good order

Unusual to be the alternator ball race. However easy to fit a new one.---Unfortunately all the bulk of the work will be removing the alternator itself.--Of course this is necessary whether for replace or repair.--
