Don't worry about it, probably hit your thanks limit, 10 in a 24 hour period. Once you hit #10 its 24 hours before you can use it again.

This is a terrible for you but just an idea, How about getting a few adverts done by people who you know who are a little bit away from you location to ask for some rover wheels and someone else advertise for something else you have had stolen? Might be worth a try

Rover parts are very uncommon here now. If you go on gumtree / Facebook and even ebay or similar to find meteors or serpents for sale, never mind embossed head rests or a walnut hand brake grip, it's absolutely unheard of, unless, ironically you have usually been buying from myself over the last decade or so!

Cars have been scrapped and wrecked here by a combination of dodgy diesel and dodgy owners to be honest.

The word is out now, and I've already had several leads which have been followed up. I've photos of the alloys that I've deliberately not shared showing damage or kerbing to them. Photos are really high quality so someone would need to actually go to the hassle of refurbishment to cover them up.

Having sat and talked about it, I actually think what will happen now is the parts will end up on cars for sale instead to push up the value. So I'm watching both 2nd parts and 2nd hand cars.

Again comically there's not a 75 or zt that doesn't come up for sale in NI or ROI that owners message me about, as there are so few, and I usually know the majority of the current owners.

No if they panicked I'd say the metal is scrap, the rare bits will dissappear for a few years and likely be sold. If they where smart they would fit them to a car to sell and use it to drive up the value also, as let's face facts, why wouldn't you think the walnut wheel or set of alloys on that 75 your buying isn't stolen, your only worrying if the car is stolen, not checking the parts usually.

Yeah it's shared on the various Rover social groups online even the none English speaking European owners have helped and translated in groups. Be very surprised if they risked selling any of it now.

Angry Stolen parts.

Colin,

Only just seen this, really sorry to see that happened when you were at POL.

We all know what should happen if anyone gets arrested over this but will more likely only get a slap on the wrist.

Best of luck getting at least some of the parts back.

Tom.

That is terrible, sorry to read this Colin, not good, I had my Xenon facelift headlights stolen from my hut last year and it's a bad feeling.

We will off course keep an eye on the for sale section and indeed Facebook.
