Cool

Morning everyone.

Sunshine this morning.

Might have a drive out with the Yellow One to Bude. I love walking across the cliff tops.

Morning. Cool, windy and looks like it could rain at any time here.

One of the best films ever made is on tomorrow night, Spinal Tap 10:40 pm, BBC2. If you've never seen it its a comedy "documentary" about a British heavy metal band touring America. I was friends with the late, great Dawk Stillwell, one of the most respected guitar and amplifier gurus in the business. I once asked him how close Spinal Tap was to the truth, he replied "closer than you will ever know"

Had to go to B&M to get a new ironing board, I welded one of the legs a few months ago now the weld on the other leg has broken The metal is so thin & corroded It's not worth getting the Rover & trailer out of the garage to get at my welder.
20 Quid for a new un at B&M.
I got some more compost whilst I was there & I've noticed the "formula" has changed which just means less peat compost in them, Only 30% peat compost in the bags I bought.
Peat compost is being outlawed between 2022-2025, I used to pick up return loads of bagged peat compost down Somerset way back in the day, It was a huge commercial operation down there, I wonder what will happen to all those jobs.

It’s certainly a bit cool today, well not freezing but not very warm though.

It's been very mixed down here today, one minute it's like summer the next it's overcast.

Cool

Evening everyone.

Never did go out.

But I did get the hedge trimmed, eventually. Started then the battery gave out in the cordless trimmer. Took 4 hours to recharge. But got lots of weeding done.

Spoke to the garage about the Bears advisories. Once they have sourced the parts then back she goes to get repaired, then up For Sale she goes. Till then I will continue to use the Bear.

Nice bit of rump steak, new pots and green salad for dinner. Just going to have a pints of cider to round the evening off.
