T4 cost, roughly
Hi everyone.
I just bought myZT-T that was an old part ex from a local dealer. I like it alot but I need to get it on a t4. The abs light is on and poking about it looks like some of the sensors have been replaced. Found a place in chelmsford Essexthat offers t4. C.a.r.s I beleive they're called. Any idea of a rough cost I can expect for it. I don't like to go in to anything without knowing a but about it. Thanks [IMG][/IMG] |

That's avery nice looking ZT-T.
The minimum for a T4 session would/should be around £60 at a garage. I would budget around £100 in order to allow any issues to be analysed. The Chelmer garage has been recommended, based on personal experience, by a number of people in the past on this forum. |

In my experience, diagnostic sessions at garages tend not to end with the fee for that work. As suggested, you'd be much better off contacting club trader Phil-T4 who, I am sure, will be willing to travel to Chelmsford to test your car (and, having used his services myself, I can assure you that he will be better value for money than any garage ). Incidently, it doesn't have to be a T4 but it does need to be a good quality alternative.
I have a Snap-On Modis Ultra & Solus Pro & both have no problem communicating. |

I have a PScan device (http://www.pscan.eu) which I originally got for my MGF and TF. Works pretty well on the 75 CDTi, too!

T4 is the ideal diagnostic for these cars, but, as mentioned there are alternatives that can do a fair bit. |
