Default Has anybody fitted cup holders above the radio?

I was looking behind the eyebrow on the centre console and it looks like it's possible to fit a pair of cup holders in there with a bit of judicious chopping and shaping. My question is has anybody done this? Please don't say just get a drivers cup holder, the passenger one is awful the way it intruded into the leg space so the drivers one would be worse in my eyes. I was thinking of using the ones out of the rear seats

I am sure I have read about someone measuring up VW/Audi style cupholders for the cubby area above the stereo, I dont recall any results though.

Someone did this before using the twin rear cup holder from a Seat Ibiza if I remember correctly.

That's the sort of thing I was thinking about, I couldn't find anything on the boards though
