My 620SLi was great.

Default rover 620

I had a 620i several years ago, it was quite pokey and refined, but thirsty and to my eyes the cabin looked quite dated, even back then - c. 2005.

I have had a 600 with the Honda engine and I loved it best engine I have had, a good ride and very nice to drive. Also had a 620 with most of the toys and liked that one just as much, only parted with it to buy my 75. Would have another 600 any time.

Had a 620 SLDI for 10 years and over 100K miles. Good for 50 mpg on longer runs. Ultra reliable - only things I had go wrong was a glow plug and an electric window motor. Boot has a narrow aperture.

Have literally just said goodbye to my 623 GSI. Chap collected it only a few minutes ago. Lovely car to drive but sadly part of the cull here.

my dad had his first 620i back in the 90's when it was only 3 years old and was his favorite car up until he bought a 75. Couldn't fault it at all, and I still see it now and again driving locally and still looks mint.

He later bought a 620SDI in the early 2000's and ran it for a few years doing half the m25 twice a day for a long time. It had covered over 230k miles and the engine was still solid and pulled like a train, but unfortunately at higher mileage the bodywork doesn't take it too well and some rust began to show.

We loved both of them. I'd happily have one, especially a 620ti

I like the 600 series for it's handsome looks (IMO one of the nicest looking Rovers ever), and the 620SLDi I had gave me a lot of respect for the L-series diesel.

Two things let it down for me: rust, and the low seating position which hurt my knees getting in and out. Mind you, the 400/45 was no better in this respect.

If I could find a good diesel 600 cheap I'd be tempted even now.

Had a 620SLi auto for 5 years and all it needed was a new radiator.
Outstanding car.

I still have brand new front front brake disks and pads sat in my shed.
