I just did a vehicle check on all mine:

The 2002 2.5 V6 75 apparently doesn't meet Euro 4 / IV standards so is £10 per day, but my 2002 2.5 V6 ZTT 190 does so is exempt??

The 2004 ZT 180 2.5 V6 is also exempt, but the 2004 ZT 260 V8 isn't

The council proposed a "congestion" charge in Edinburgh a number of years ago and was unanimously told to get stuffed so they hiked the parking charges instead. Pay and display parking in the city centre costs between £3 and £3.80 per hour depending where you park.

My 2.0 V6 '75 is also subject to the charge . Not an issue at present, as I'd never take it into London anyway. Still irritates though.

Its just another RIP OFF method to extract more money from motorists..

The really polluting BLACK CABS are of course exempt .........

Just checked based on Reg No. and my 2001 2.0 v6 75 isn't subject to the charge Why the difference ? Is it because of age of car ?

Makes no sense to me, all seems a bit hit and miss.
