Comment on Facebook
Like probably a few of you I use Facebook, and I am subscribed to 1 or 2 &Rover pages, P6 and 75.
A poster came on and commented that they had just bought a 75 and it had coolant fan issues. Knowing what a wealth of info there was on here I promoted the forum and all of your expertise.I pointed out that it was free but that he could subscribe if he wished. I recieved aunwanted comment that all our subs went to thebank accts of the directors and that the OC was not a club but a business run by old cronies who did nothing to keep the cars running. I kept calm and said i was sorry but i have had nothing but good experiences and left him alone. it really annoys me that someone can say things when the club cannot answer, regardless of why he feels that way. I wont name him here but if Reebs or any mods want his details i will pas on his name.... he must be known by some on here. |

You get that all the time on the facebook groups I'm afraid, as soon as the OC name is mentioned.
If anyone whinges about a tenner a year isn't worth replying to, one problem answered on here is worth a tenner in my opinion.

This Forum and it’s many members has been the sole reason my car is still running and frankly from the very beginning of my ownership.
IT started with the rear light seals, wet carpet and I have had to many to list challenges since then that the forum members have jumped up to help with both knowledge and hands on expertise to offer support. I am personally in awe of the fountain of goodwill and knowledge this forum represents. God bless all of you

I’ve not ran our remaining zt for over 2 years now but have still paid my subs. As you say £10 is well worth it had more than my money’s worth over the years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree with Trikey. £10 for the info is peanuts.
Anyone bashing or making negative remarks about the OC gets removed in my group. |

That's the problem - Facebook. Unfortunately a bastion of Mittys, willie wavers and the perennial combatant.
Best avoided IMHO.
