Default Drivers door window.

First question ever

The drivers door window needs replacing, Mk2 CDTI Tourer, usual scratching and was there when I bought it, so it's time I replaced it.

Before I start my tinternet search can I ask the helpful folk on here if they could point me to any popular sources of the glass, new or reasonable, they know of that may be worth trying first.

There is obviously no rush and I usually search for things in the evening with a nice glass of red.

I replaced the windscreen a couple of years ago with a brand new one that turned up, you don't realise how much wiper scuffing affects vision especially at night and in wet condition till you peer through a new one.

Thanks in anticipation, cheers, Bill

Are you based in Greater Manchester?

Might be worth contacting the Project Nigel Youtube Channel has a couple of 75/ZT's in that he is pulling to pieces to save other Rovers, if you are on social media you can find him on Facebook under Project Nigel.

You could try automotive glass suppliers, I know they were readily available a couple of years ago.
They were certainly an awful lot cheaper than X-part or Rimmers, a customer of mine got me one at the same time he got his, think they were about £40 each.

Thanks everyone, I'll look through those this weekend, after I've done a bit of welding on the Ducati frame.
