Default A new interesting noise

Hi all
After the saga with the fuel pump I am now noticing a click from the right hand side of the drivers side of the lower dash (below the little pocket) every time I engage or disengage gear. My car is the automatic CDT.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal or something I ought to get checked out?

I may just be being a bit sensitive to every noise and rattle,

All advice appreciated.

Dave

Does it do this if, when in neutral, you depress and release the clutch pedal:-
a) with the engine off, or
b) with the engine running?

If so, it might be friction / stiction between the clutch pedal pivot & return spring.
