Service recording
When I had one car (remember those days!) it was easy to keep track of MOT, tax, oil changes and belt changes.
Now I'm trying to keep track of my ZT, TF(s) the wife's Volvo, our boys Alfa, and his girlfriends Clio. I've also found so many more things to worry about: Brake fluid changes, coolant renewal, gear box oil, checking my plenum, greasing the TF suspension. To help my failing memory I was about to have a go at making up some service record sheets, to put in a binder for each car. Planning to put Reg number and date of MOT on the spine of each for quick reference. However, this forum is full of folk ministering to fleets of MGs/Rovers/oldJags/doddery Triumphs et al. Anyone found a good clear template on the Internet they've been using to keep a record of their servicing? Or, devised a relaible system to keep up with multiple vehicles? Cheers All. |

Download the app 'Vehicle Smart' It lets you add a number of cars then you can fill in the details of each one, it will remind you when things need doing...

I keep a pocket book in each car to record servicing, tyres, battery, etc, etc. The DVLA remind me of the tax when due, and I have a good enough memory for the MOTs. Well, there are only 20 of them. It's just remembering which keyring is which!

We have an old fashioned paper calendar that is used, so does the calendar in microsoft outlook. Wife also has a diary. Amazon Alexa will remind you but you need to be there when "she" pipes up.
How do people remember birthdays of friends and relatives? Same process perhaps? macafee2 |

I use the absolutely accurate and infallible services of...... SWMBO . Sadly, she doesn't seem even slightly interested in doing something similar for the cars |
