Had one of those Wes but, it was branded as Goodyear. I couldn't get on with it and got no better results than using cloths and polishing by hand. Sold it to somebody on here but, never heard how they got on with it

Save your money Wes and go buy some quality polishing cloths

Right arm and a soft cloth.... cheaper, more accurate, less chance of burn through...

Thanks fellas, I thought a polisher would give a better finish. I was hoping to get rid of this cloudy/hazy effect I seem to have on my roof and boot.

If you're looking for something for paint correction, I would go for something like this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_519.html

It's dual action, so very unlikely to damage your paint, but will have enough grunt to give good results even if you haven't used one before. A standard rotary polisher would be quicker and cheaper, but will require more experience to use safely.

The polisher in your link would be safe to use, but I very much doubt you would see any meaningful paint correction with it.

Cool

Wash, clay bar, wax and finish off with a detailing spray polish.

Sounds like you need a heavier cutting compound rather than a polisher...

Get the haze off before re polishing

I had a similar one Wes, absolutely sh (rhymes with rite). It is really just a buffing machine, it won't remove blemishes and imperfections and n the paintwork. It makes a right mess, and you end up having to finish off by hand anyway, where it has missed loads. Also vibrates something terrible, there are plenty of proper car polishing mops on eBay,starting at around £80. If that's what you're looking for.
