Many thanks to Peter for all the work carried out on behalf of John. He would have been proud of you all. And thanks to all that attended the meet on the day.

Finally, a few photos from the day, starting on a sad note with the absence of John. A lovely gesture by Keith to bring along some flowers and a repro of John's numberplate. Well done mate .

And finally of course, Nobby's new friend :

Last years show was hot, but I reckon this time around it was even more so. I took a lot of video footage, but the heat must have got to me as I made a right royal stuff up of it. A couple of short clips of our stand, then I somehow managed to get out of sync with the record button, so when I thought I'd pressed "Record" I stopped recording, and vice versa. End result was 2 or more hours of video showing my feet and the grass as I wandered around the show ! Where is Jimbo when you need him.

Great pictures Cliff .

Yes it's easy enough to get out of sync, I've done the same many many times, indeed did it recently at the BMC & Leyland show on the 1st luckily only once.

Now I always check the screen before shooting for the red record icon, made a little easier with my latest camera as the standby and record audible sounds are different.

Thanks Jim. My only defence is that the bright sunlight made the screen a little hard to see at times, but really, I've no excuses . Was so annoyed with myself when I reviewed the footage .

On the positive side, if I ever forget what shoes I was wearing on the day, I've plenty of footage to help me out .

Default Total Proceeds for the Day.

MacMillan made £16,500 for this show in 2017. Just heard from Barry they only made £10,500, with a lot of the shortfall due partly because they lost some sponsorship, this year.
