Default Need a new door.

Not for the car it's for the house.
Back door window gave up last week so is currently taped up till I had some free time to look at replacements.
I'm more than capable and happy to fit my own is any members in the trade etc can recommend a decent make.
Had a look at some tonight at local diy store but wondered if these are upto the job compared to say other manufacturers?

Cheers

Have a look on Ebay, there are lots of 'mis-measures' UPVC doors & frames listed by double glazing companies.
I won an auction for a door & frame with all the hardware that was a perfect fit which would have cost £750 new for £125

I've had a look and there is nothing local that would suit.
I've called a local manufacturer today and there going to get back to me with what they have.
Thanks for the tip.

I fitted a B&Q upvc door. It was only a couple of hundred quid... Its perfectly adequate and feels well made.

Yeah that's the only problem I waited months to find one that was the right fit, It was a safe style UK rosewood UPVC door & frame that was a mis-measure , I got our rosewood UPVC conservatory the same way, the full shooting match for £350

I've just bought a composite door for the side of my new garage, will be buying a back door shortly.

Just to update this thread this is what we bought fully glazed backdoor ideal for keeping an eye on all our bunnies. Quiet funny to see there wee faces peeking in through to glass when there out to play in the garden.
