Default Wiring

Does anyone know which wires do what on the cars?? Do Rover /MG use the same system on all models for the looms or are they different? trying to find out how to test the motor on my R45 V6 cruise pump to see if it is working but not sure which wires do what. I have the wiring diagram off RAVE but it doesn't tell you what the wires do. Any help much appreciated lads as I don't want to blow the motor by connecting it up wrong if it's ok. T4 said pump has no power.

Have you checked fuse 4 , and has there been any clutch work done on the car as the switch is often the culprit

The top diagram shows the 3 wires going from ECU to pump marked output , the supply at pin 11 is going to 5 on the pump and is the brown wire

Wouldn't the KV6 powertrain shoehorn into an MG TF?
