Hi Peter, as this proposed meet hasn't had many takers, and it coincides with Fathers Day, perhaps we might put it off?

Totally agree Fred. Severely disappointed at the lack of interest. Can't think why I bother. Do not enjoy being ignored. May only have max 7 coming, not worth running it. Event now cancelled.
Would help if Folk referred to Fathers Day 19/6 Wrotham Classic Steam Fair 26/6 and Bluebird meet at East Kirby as reasons why they are unable to attend. Brassed off Pete. |

Peter you must keep the breakfast meets going. I love the meet.
I’ll attend whenever I can. On the 19th I’ll be at MG’s in the Park.

A shame it has to be cancelled, but totally get your reasons Peter. Can't understand the lack of interest, Frimley is usually so well attended .

Add to your reasons the cost of fuel, shouldn't affect your local members too much; but there are a few who do a 2hr. plus round trip for this.
Some over double this. As Bob say's, keep them going if you possibly can. Frimley, I'm sure, might be the best attended (6 times a year) meet in the South, if not the UK. Regards Mike

Sale of the Century! Do keep the meets going Peter. I feel they will pick up again. When we went to the meet, we enjoyed the comradeship, seeing the cars and a slap up meal. It made for a lovely day out hosted by your good self, always kind and thoughtful. |

However in life now - There are too many options and alternatives to choose from and little consideration is paid to the person who commits themselves to make efforts for all the arrangements to pull off a show. I am sorry that I am usually unable to attend the meetings that you arrange, but hope that you may be able to continue running them as the one I did attend was a goodun ! Keep yer pekker up fella, things will work themselves out soon. ATB ROGH57.... |
