Angry Huge heavy heart

I am writing this with the worst feeling ever the ztt has gone on top of all the other things that needed doing the high pressure fuel pump went and she wouldn't start I have put plenty of time and effort into her mot in January I didn't have the funds even with macafee's help

A friend of mine has taken her for £550 and is a mechanic and going to do right by her

I'm gutted and now driving a E46 touring I will be back with another ztt or zt at some point for now I shall not be indicating and I will be driving to close

The HP pumps are usually pretty much bulletproof Russel so you can pick up a good second hand one for peanuts.

Looked at a car that BMW had condemned the HP pump on & quoted a ridiculous amount to replace it and after a bit of investigation the problem turned out to be a blocked fuel line, so I hope the diagnosis is correct and the mechanic isn't wasting his time changing it.

Nothing like a Rover 75/MG ZT pity it has taken the demise of the Company for the great British public to notice, you will soon find a new one and back on line as it were, Merry Xmas etc...

The first time my car would not start it was the Fuel sensor regulator thingy on the back of the HP pump, Could have been that

go to Lynhurst fire station, see if there is one in the yard at the back.
Ask around cos if it is still there, it was for sale.

lol classic

E46 tho - not as pretty as the ZTT - but could be worse

I like Rear Wheel Drive Cars - I learned to drive in an old Volvo 740, a great car to drive.
