Morning all, A brighter cooler morning here with some blue sky for a change.

I've had the black peas soaking overnight & I'm going to be getting them on a low light for teatime

Brings back memories of the wakes week when the fair came to town, Sat in black pea tent wi a goldfish in a plastic bag in one hand & a coconut in the other & a steaming hot mug o black peas with a good splash of malt vinegar

Laundry day whilst it's not raining me thinks.

As a Norfolk thickie,what are Black Peas?

We have dried peas, which some folk call blue peas, after the blue tablet you soak them in water with,when cooked they then become what everyone loves, Mushy Peas,never had or came across Black peas and I have eaten things that would make a Billy Goat puke.
