What is this bit called?
As per the title, when I open the rear window of the tourer, there's a small plastic panel over the wiper motor and the latch mechanism.
Unfortunately, it has not led a charmed life! Any idea what it's called, are they known for regularly failing, and any idea where I can get hold of another or is it time for Araldite? |

Looks like ABS, so a few judicious drops of super gloo should fix it.

£18.42 with the vat & P&P added I would either visit a scrap yard or drop one of the traders a PM I think mickyboy as a tourer in which is being used for spare parts.

£18.42, it's already ordered.
I have just had all of the belts replaced on my inexpensive, 2 owner, 65.000 mile V6 motorcar. The instrument cluster has been sent off for re-furbishment, I've bought four new tyres, and when I get it all back together, it's off to have the madly over complex and non functioning 'radio' sorted - £18.42 for ten bob's worth of plastic is in reality, all but nothing. A big thanks for the link. Last edited by Bernard Fishtrousers; 12th August 2019 at 15:52.. |
