I was 33 when i bought my current Rover 75 Tourer, i still have it now i have been driving Rovers since i was 20 years old I had a British Racing Green Rover 216 Vitesse in 1989 brand new what a car that was loved it, briefly when to ford for a Escort 1.6 Ghia, good car, but missed my Rovers and went and bought a brand new Rover 416 GSI in 1995 N reg, remember that reg N229 VOK.
From there went and bought a Rover 420 saloon "now that car was well underrated " T series engine very quick, that was the engine that should have gone into the R75 not the 1.8 K type the T series should have gone in . always thought that.

From there bought my Current Rover 75, still have it as i can't buy no more, and due to my love of Majestic British cars "British brands do have something about them" I don't know what it is, i am taking the same root and taking delivery of my brand new Jaguar xj50 on the 2/09/2019.

in keeping with British motoring!!! to join the Rover, only last night i looked back! after parking the R75 and though " damn that car still looks beautiful even now nearly 20 years on"

I think I can beat all of you in "old man car" circles.

I practiced driving for my test on a 1.8 and then 2.2 litre Austin princess at the age of 23.

Past my test in a 1 litre Hillman Husky 16 valve.
Eight on the side of the engine and the rest in the radio.
