Default Contemporary steering wheel

If anyone has a really nice contemporary steering wheel for sale, I would be very interested.

Default Steering wheel?

Hi Mike,

Maybe I'm a bit thick but what exactly do you mean by "contemporary" steering wheel. I have a Smokestone and Dark Oak with ICE controls only, in very good condition and a Smokestone with ICE controls which is pretty much perfect.

Drop me a PM and I can send some photos and prices if either are what you are after.

Cheers

Contemporary is a mk2 variant of 75, that had sports seats and ash grey interior, normally accompanied with a black oak dash. A contemporary wheel would be ash grey (essentially black) like a zt wheel, but smooth leather as opposed to perforated.

Your wheel though, you say dark oak, is it not walnut? The three standard wood types I thought were light oak, black oak (a mark 2), and walnut.

An example

For Display Purposes Only - NOT For Sale

I had ZT Perforated Leather - I much prefer the narrower rimmed 75 wheel tho

Have you seen this ? - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-...4383.l4275.c10 - a bit more than i paid for mine, in fact i just sold a Brand New (with slight storage marks) Rover 75 Wheel(smokestone) for less (no Airbag tho) - £70 isn't bad if it's what's required

Paul.

Default Steering wheel

Hi Mike,

OK now I know all about contemporary wheels, if as you say there is no dark oak then the one I have must be light oak, it's definitely not walnut as that's what I have on my Tourer...that's two things I have learned today.

See, even at this late stage in life I am still gaining knowledge!

Cheers
