Local meets
Somewhere in these posts might there be a list of forthcomimg local meets and nano-meets. It would be good to meet up with fellow Rover 75 owners at a pleasent location (pub! - no, not necessarily serious) to share opions and elicit advise.
I've driven to a Birmingham meet in the past but, living in Leeds a Yorkshire location would be ideal. |

Have a look at the North East Section of events and meets as we have some meets planned in the Yorkshire Area, and one of two of the other meets are in the North east area, just over the border Stu |

Am I missing something? I found the Yorks & noth lincs section in the events forum, also found the calandar, which had almost nothing listed. I was hoping to find a list of meetings with dates and locations, this list to show all meetings in the UK (and abroad if there are any). Every other club I'm a member of has such a list in the printed or online magazine but perhaps the nature in which the 75MG club works this is not possible? |

Hi Mike, the club as such only promotes two national meets per year. this is in addition to the club having a stand at the car show at the NEC every year.
The rest of the meets you see are unofficial gatherings that are not covered by the club or its insurance. These are usually ( but not always) organised by the regional secretaries but these are volunteer posts and some secretaries are more active than others due to workloads and real life. I traveled to a meet at the Wagon and horses meet near Lincoln last week and there was talk of organising a Whitby meet similar to one we attended a few years ago and it was considered a great success. Our Sec is Andiwilli but he is very busy and perhaps struggles to find the time to organise as much as he would like. The meets that Ricardo, Trikey and Fusilier organise are always top notch affairs when I have attended them, well worth a trip out. Hope that explains the situation a little Dave...
