Default MoT history check anomaly

Had a look at a car today. Seemed in reasonable order. Belts and water pump replaced by a reputable garage around 10000 miles past. Invoice history of work done. However . . . when I did an MoT history check there is only one record (the most recent). My present cars give the, expected, multiple records.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

P.s. Why am I looking at yet another 75?

Could it have been on a private plate previous?

Invoice history is all from the same garage, local to the dealer selling the car and going back a few years. I thought any change in registration plate was included in the history?

sounds like it could have been on another plate, think a HPI check may show this, but I'd also speak to the garage or the previous owner. Most times I have had cars booked in for work, they'd always have it under the registration number and this would appear on the invoice as well.

I've put a private number on my car, the MOT history from the "old" registration has transferred to my private registration number.

+1

Mine was screwed up for a week with old records on the old plate, latest on the new. Was sorted within a week. Probably what has happened here.
