Default Tyre fitters

On the way home from work I stopped off at an unbranded tyre fitters to get a replacement valve fitted.
Not a big place , 3 bays and not a chain.
I parked opposite the bays , walked over and thought wheres the reception?
You have to walk through the middle bay to get to it but there was a car in the bay up on a Jack......not ideal.
Went over to reception, no one there...2 fitters working on cars and 2 people chatting outside.

Stood there for 7 minutes with no body even looking in my direction
Then watched the fitter put the wheel on the hub , out came the air gun , nuts as tight as possible......then got the torque wrench out , put it on each nut and straight away you heard click.

This made my mind up and I walked straight out again.
For a small company you would think they might need the work but no one acknowledged my existence until I had got in the car and started to reverse out...1 of the 2 chatting asked if I needed anything...no ta.
Feel sorry for whoever tries to undo those nuts

Many of us can probably relate undoing bolts tightened by such muppets. I can.

A wrecker over here has the same attitude, getting on your knees and bowing down deep is the only way to get anything from them. Well that became more ambiguous than it was meant to.

Some business think you are privileged to have them muck you belongings up, and charging you for the fun of it. Clearly not concerned with repeat business, as they probably won't be there in 6 months time.
