Default Alternative knobs

My gear knob is looking a bit sorry for itself so I was just wondering if anyone has got any pictures of alternative knobs.

There are so many different shapes and sizes I cant decide so it over to you

Thanks in advance

Stan

this was actually reasonably comfortable to use - I didn't leave it there for long tho

fitted a nice new mk1 Gear Knob

What's wrong with the knob? If its that the clear "rubber" top has gone yellow and manky they can be refurbed quite easily, done it with both ZTs I've owned. There is a "how to" but rather than clear lacquer I used my other half's clear nail varnish as it would be harder wearing.

Finished article on my old 1.8T:

The top has gone yellow but the leather has split down the side so would still look terrible if I did the top so was thinking of replacing it with something different.

I do like the look of the mk1 knob , doesn't look out of place at all

Plenty of alternatives down in Westminster. Take your pick.

I'll post a pic of mine later.

I replaced mine the week I bought the car as the old one was dreadful.
The knob nicely matches the gear gaiter with perforated leather effect.

That is a bit too large , I would hate to try and shuffle into the passenger seat

It matches the gear stick gaitor, I dont think it looks too cheap and tacky. I know it's not original, but mine was falling to bits and was loose.
The first time I drove the car, I put it into reverse and the knob came off in my hand!
