Smile Air filter cover.

I changed my pcv and air filters today, and am having trouble fitting the cover, is there a knack in fitting this?. The problem seems to be at the rear of the cover. Any advice please?. Thanks, John.

Firstly ensure the air filter is correctly in the slot (Opposite end to the maf)

Stand on the drivers side, line up the oil filler cap, then aim the rear of the cover downwards, it should locate in the cam cover this way.

Thanks for the tips, I will try again tomorrow. Maybe the air filter is stopping it, I will take it off and see if the cover goes on better. John.

I've had problems on the near side getting the cover to fit. If trikeys way does not work, stand near side and get that side to fit

There was a thread about trimming a corner of the lid , due to damage on the lip by bad fitting.
