OMG just ordered a new front sub frame
I have removed my front sub frame to change the bushes and there is a fair bit of rust scattered here and there. I've started to clean it up but don't think I can get into all the nooks and crannies.
I've bitten the bullet and just ordered a new front sub frame from Rimmers £312 including delivery and all bushes. I hope I've done the right thing macafee2 |

To be honest, If I had my subframe off, I would probably do the same.
£300 may sound a lot, but it will last a good long time and give you Peace of mind. You can give it a good going over with Waxoyl (or similar) before fitting as well . Money well spent to my mind. Cliff

Wish I had a large enough garage to take mine off back and front. Would love to do them both up. I have the time but has to be reasonable weather for me now to work outside. Done all the rain and snow working now thank you.
