Help please
New to these forums and looking to learn more about my wife 75. It's a Y reg 2.0 Connie auto saloon with the leather interior.
Trying to identify her sound system as looking to upgrade in future. It looks like the Harmony system with the cassette head etc but has a large Bose logo just underneath - is this a different unit/upgrade or somebodies wishful thinking? Sorry if this been asked and answered before - but any help gratefully received. Many thanks in advance |

Many thanks - yes that's the one as identified in the post that lists all in top of section.
But is the chrome Bose label a real system or just an applied add-on to look better ? ours doesn't have Philips on it as per the photo just the Bose label. The label is between the two slots underneath the controls ( the slots used to pull the unit out ?) If the label looks like a stick on label ,then I would guess it's a hopeful add on.
Wish they were Bose

To my knowledge BOSE componants were not fitted to our cars. The top line stuff was provided by Harmon Kardon. If your car had this specified the little tweeters near top the side mirrors on your front doors will have their name on them. Have this set up in mine and a very good sound still coming from them after 12 years.

Yes, Bose did not make head units for our cars, so it is almost certainly just a go faster sticker or perhaps the previous owner changed the door speakers to Bose?

Many thanks for all the replies.
Managed to pry the keys from the wife on Thursday this week to take it for a new tyre and exhaust back box so will check the speakers etc. Chances are as said its just wishful thinking from a previous owner. |

Was just wishful thinking from a previous owner.
Still enjoyed having the car for the day though. |
