I bought one for the dorchester V6 it wasn;t very good and any small gust of wind blew it off the car, however after I returned it I got this which had elasticated parts at the front and back and was much better.

I got a Halfords all weather one with 3 sets of straps to hold it on. Not cheap but very good

Smile What I have done

Various options here I find :-
  • The best I have is https://www.cover-zone.com/products/...rs/stormforce/ . This is multi layer , tough and soft padded inside. It does cost £192 though !
  • On top of this I also have a cheap cover for £12 off Ebay ! but that may be over the top because the the cover-zone one is more than adequate. I would NOT have just a cheap one on it's own though.
  • In the past I also had an XL multilayer from Halfords - about £50 as I recall . trouble was , after a couple of years it started flaking inside - dust and flakes everywhere. For the price though you could work on a new one of these every 3 years or so.
What ever cover you have I think you need to lift it off about once a month to allow air to dry any misty areas. Not that I get a lot , however , in my view , the alternative to a cover is water pouring over/through the car - so I go for a cover. A garage or covered car port would be even better but not all of us have that!
Hope that's of some use.
