I've parts left from my old zt I can have a look to see if I have a drivers lock.

You know when you look at the driver door handle.

I need the part with the slot for the key in it so I donlt see a hole where the key would go

My car has been written off, so if you want to take the bit off you need its yours for free, car is the other side of Leicester to you, but will be going soon to scrap yard, as no mg salvage that I know off near by.

You could force of the chrome cover covering the lock and just remove the end cap of the barrel. I reckon it would take 5 mins.

By the way what colour is your car?
