The short answer Janet, is you cann’t. It has taken Rick many years and hours to get it to that stage. He has even modded more since we were all in Holland..

Stands looking great guys fantastic line up of cars really enjoyed my visit yesterday. Nice to chat to most of you all, sorry I missed Pete and never managed to speak to Rick and Ian.

This years event is bigger than ever and a day is just not enough time to get round all the halls, maybe next year I'll look at booking a hotel and splitting the show over two days.

Meant to get back to the club stand at the end of the day but time got away from us and by 5:00 pm we still had hall 5 to visit! By the way we hadn't lost our way when we saw you leaving last night, we were parked in North 2 and the exit from hall 8 was the shortest route.

Managed to grab this picture of the club stand on our way out

Also as I entered through hall 4 on the way to hall 8 I noticed Jonny Smith of Fifth Gear and Fully Charged....

I'll start to put together my video of the club stand, didn't video anything else of the event though I did take the odd picture or so!

All the best for today and tomorrow.

Jim

Enjoyed seeing the cars and members on friday. V8 tourers were my favourite. I flew over from Dublin with my 12 yr old son and was chatting to neil coupland (I think, going by the pictures) for a while about the mg zt monogram.

Afterwards I spent some time driving a Jaguar E type located at the HERO stand which was fun as my shoes kept catching between pedals and carpet(not much space in the footwell). The engine has some roar off it though and its surprisingly comfortable at 40mph (speed limit) outside sadly.
It was extra special as because I was early for the drive, they let my son be a passenger in a lancia delta integrale martini following behind. That car was a beast.

Hope to be back over next year

cheers
Ian

As David said above, mine is very heavily modified cosmetically to get it to look how it does, many many mods done over nearly 5 years of ownership.

If its just the colour he likes there was a rather mint v6 typhoon zt up for sale recently. Dont know if it sold yet or not. Was up for £3.5k.

My photos do no justice to the size and variety of the show but here they are

A varied and fascinating selection of photos Simon, especially for those of us who were not able to make it to the show, thank you very much for sharing. Have a beautiful weekend.

An intetresting visit to the car show yesterday. Full marks to our club stand and helpers. Daughter and I were dazzled by the glass-like polish on the exhibits . Good to chat with Paul and others .
Well done guys.

Default RR

stands for Range Rover, but my sister has a 1934 Rolls Royce, not swapping it for a Rover that I can tell you.
