Default OK Irwin bolt extrators do work

A week or so ago I posted a thread about how disappointed I was with Irwin bolt extractors. 1 reply advised that the 10mm one was not a proper 10mm and so I bought the extension pack.

Today I used the proper 10 extractor and it did a fine job, I also used the 13mm extractor and that too did a fine job and so I am a bit of a convert. Unfortunately the metric range is quite poor, there is no 15mm extractor, I could have done with one today.

i have a metric set Ian, used them to remove the bolts that hold the calipers on , no probs as yet.

yes Ian, mine is a ten piece set from 9mm up to 19mm . bought it off fleabay a couple of years ago

Try this one then, although it doesn't state 15mm the set will remove a 15mm hex as I have used the same one.

I have bought a set of Bergen single hex sockets, and they are brilliant. i can only guess these will be as well.

Found a 15 piece set on ebay for a very reasonable price:
